Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance

By accepting a quote or booking a service with This 'n That Services, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Quotes

- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

- Quotes are based on the information provided and a visual inspection where applicable.

- Additional work requested outside the original quote will incur additional charges.

3. Payment

- Payment is due upon completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing.

- Late payments may incur interest and debt recovery costs where permitted by Australian law.

- Ownership of any supplied materials remains with This 'n That Services until payment has been received in full.

4. Access to Property

The client is responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the property. Delays caused by restricted access may result in additional charges.

5. Safety

This 'n That Services reserves the right to refuse or stop work where conditions are unsafe, including hazardous materials, aggressive animals, dangerous weather, or unsafe structures.

6. Weather

Outdoor services may be postponed due to unsuitable weather. A new service date will be arranged as soon as practical.

7. Workmanship Warranty

All workmanship is covered by a 90-day workmanship warranty from the completion date. This warranty covers defects resulting directly from our workmanship.

The warranty does not cover:

- Normal wear and tear.

- Damage caused by weather, storms, flooding, fire, or natural events.

- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or third parties.

- Existing defects or hidden issues not visible before work commenced.

- Materials supplied by the client.

Warranty claims must be reported within the 90-day period.

8. Lawn & Garden Services

- Lawn appearance depends on seasonal conditions, irrigation, soil health, pests, and fertiliser programs.

- This 'n That Services cannot guarantee grass growth, colour, weed control, or plant survival.

- Garden waste removal is included only where specified in the quote.

9. Handyman Services

- Work is limited to the agreed scope.

- Hidden damage discovered during the job may require additional repairs at extra cost.

- Electrical, plumbing, gas, and other licensed work will only be performed where legally permitted or referred to an appropriately licensed contractor.

10. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

- Provide accurate information.

- Remove valuable or fragile items from work areas.

- Keep children and pets away from the work area.

- Obtain any approvals required for the work unless otherwise agreed.

11. Cancellations

- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee.

- This 'n That Services reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to weather, illness, equipment failure, or unforeseen circumstances.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, This 'n That Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the services provided. Our liability is limited to the value of the service supplied.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes rights provided under the Australian Consumer Law.

13. Photographs

This 'n That Services may take before and after photographs for quality records and marketing purposes. No identifying personal information or property address will be published without the client's permission.

14. Privacy

Client information is collected only for the purpose of providing services and will not be shared with third parties except where required by law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
